Coin98 Staking V1 Updates

Dear Coin98 Community,

We are excited to share that our transition from Staking V1 to V2 has received strong support from the community. The Coin98 PowerPool has achieved an impressive milestone of over $5 million in Total Value Staked in just one week!

Previously, we informed all V1 stakers that they needed to withdraw their tokens and claim rewards by 4:00 PM UTC on December 30, 2024. This update will explain how stakers will easily receive their rewards through the Coin98 Vault.

Vault Claim for Coin98 Stakers with Early Redemptions

To ensure fair rewards for stakers, instead of the usual 2% floating rate for early staking redemption, rewards will now be calculated based on the package rate multiplied by the actual staking duration. 

Vault Claiming Details

• The snapshot was taken at 4:00 UTC on December 30, 2024, capturing all wallets that have early staking redemptions from December 18, 2024 to December 30, 2024.
• If an address has staked across multiple networks, all rewards will be consolidated and distributed via the Coin98 Vault to stakers’ Viction wallets.

Example: You stake a 1-year package with a rate of 12% per year.

If you unstake after 10 months, instead of receiving a 2% floating rate, your total rewards are = 12% × (10/12 month) = 10%.

When you unstake within December 18 to December 30, 2024, you’ve already received the initial 2% floating rate.  The remaining 8% will be added to your claimable rewards via Coin98 Vault .

• When Can You Claim?

You can claim your rewards via Coin98 Vault directly through the Coin98 Super Wallet from Jan 9, 2025.

• How to Claim Rewards

1. Open the Coin98 Super Wallet.

2. Open Discover > Services > Vault. 

3. Select the staking Viction wallet and claim your reward.

Unstaking Period Extended

Since some stakers missed the original unstaking deadline, we’ve extended it to 4:00 UTC on January 30, 2025. Stakers who unstake after December 30, 2024, will be included in a second snapshot at 4:00 UTC on January 30, 2025, and can claim their assets and rewards through the Coin98 Vault later.

Claim Deadline for Staking V1 Rewards

To complete the transition from Staking V1 to V2, Coin98 set a claim deadline for all remaining unclaimed rewards.

• Claim deadline: May 12, 2026 
• After this deadline, all unclaimed Staking V1 rewards will be withdrawn from the Vault.
• Users will no longer be able to claim rewards after this time.

We strongly encourage all eligible stakers to check their Coin98 Vault and claim rewards before the deadline.
