Coin98 Wallet now integrates xDai Chain for high-speed, low fee transactions
The Coin98 Extension Wallet V5.4 introduces the integration of xDai Chain to offer a lower transaction cost solution.
Following the series of new blockchains integrated into the Coin98 Wallet, we’re introducing the integration of xDai Chain to offer a lower transaction cost solution.
xDai Chain is a stable payments EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) blockchain designed for fast and inexpensive transactions. xDai Chain currently has 2 tokens: the stable token xDAI for stable payments transaction fees and the governance token STAKE for supporting the underlying POSDAO Proof-of-Stake consensus.
With this integration, Coin98 Wallet hopes to bring our users more options that provide high-speed, low fee solutions. Coin98 Wallet users can now create/restore xDai Chain wallets, as well as store, send & receive xDAI and STAKE tokens natively on the Coin98 Extension Wallet. In the future, Coin98 Wallet hopes to integrate xDai Bridge into our system to allow users to move tokens between chains while bringing xDai Chain to our DApp Browser where users can freely explore numerous DApps on this blockchain.
How to create an xDai Chain Wallet on the Coin98 Wallet
Coin98 Mobile Wallet
Before we begin, you need to install or update our Mobile App to the latest version:
- iOS: https://ios.coin98.com
- Android: https://android.coin98.com
Step 1: Open Coin98 Mobile Wallet & click Manage on the home screen.
Step 2: Click Add Wallet, choose the icon xDAI Chain(XDAI, XRC20), and click Create.
Step 3: Name the wallet. Click Next.
- Paste the provided Passphrase/ Private Key into the confirmation box.
- After copying & saving your Passphrase, tick the “Backup your recovery key” box to confirm & back up the provided Passphrase & Private Key. Please note that these information are crucial to keeping your assets safe.
- Tick the remaining boxes to confirm you’re aware of the risks.
- Click Create Wallet.
Your xDAI Wallet will instantly be displayed on the home screen. You can also click Manage to check your wallets
