BOBA FAQ: Everything You Need to Know

1. How to earn BOBA?

You can earn BOBA by completing eligible on-chain activities:

Native same-chain swaps of whitelisted tokens (same-chain) using SwapX (available on both Coin98 Mobile App and Extension)
Other activities (cross-chain swaps, bridges,...): Coming soon

*Note: After completing an eligible on-chain activity, your BOBA will enter a "Waiting" status before becoming "Available" in your balance.

2. Which chains are supported?

Currently, BOBA rewards apply to swaps on the following EVM chains: Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Viction, Avalanche C-Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, and Optimism.

Swaps on Solana will be supported in a future update.

3. What are whitelisted tokens?

To ensure your safety and maximize your rewards, we’ve curated a list of eligible tokens, including:

Top 200 tokens by market cap (automatically updated daily based on CoinGecko data), excluding tokens on unsupported chains.
Verified emerging tokens that are carefully selected by our team

This whitelist protects you from scams and risky tokens and ensures fairness in the rewards system. It also allows you to explore various projects across the ecosystem while earning rewards.

No, BOBA is non-transferable. This ensures the points genuinely reflect your personal trading activity and expertise.

7. Why didn't I receive BOBA for my swaps?

Make sure your swap meets these criteria:

The tokens are whitelisted
The swap is on the same chain
It was done via Coin98 Wallet (mobile or extension)

8. Why is there a waiting period?

This ensures system stability and prevents gaming of the rewards system. It's a standard practice for on-chain reward programs.

9. When can I redeem BOBA?

Redemption events will be surprise, limited-time campaigns. Stay active in the app to not miss out!
